Slip Sliding Away

Dear God help me to keep from just gliding through my life. My wish is to make each day focused on you, so that I may honor you and glorify you with my life. Give me the strength to keep my faith on fire for you so today as I meet others I may sow new seeds of faith in love for You. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen

Finding Solutions To Our Sins

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are proved right when You speak and justified when You judge. God I pray that You forgive me and give me the strength I need by my faith and trust in You, so that I can tackle my sins and develop the self-control I need to resist the temptations that would have me backslide. God help me to bring it all to You and turn control of my life continually over to You. Dear God, I know that the solutions I seek will be found in You alone. Father help me to always honor You mentally, physically, emotionally, and faithfully in all I say and do. I pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.

What Are You Afraid Of?

Heavenly Father, I come to you with prayers of praise and with a request for forgiveness. Father I praise you for showing me how much you are involved in my life and that you are always there for me. Thank you Father for easing my fears and for protecting me from harms way. Father forgive me for my fears which show I am not always strong enough with my faith and trust in you. Dear God, give me the strength to always turn my fears over to you and to keep my faith strong with my trust in you. Father God, protect me from Satan's arrows that wish to hold me back in my service to you. It is my wish now and always to serve you and honor you in a way that pleases you and glorifies your name. I pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.

A Season, A Reason, Or A Lifetime

Dear God, I praise You for the many time that You show me that You are there and have a hand on my life. Thank you for those that You bring into my life for a season, a reason, or for a lifetime. Father, let me always have an open heart, so that I can use my gifts and talents in faith to serve others in a way that honors You and glorifies Your name. Heavenly Father, thank you to for bringing people into my life to help me when I am in need. Thank you for your love, wisdom, and blessings that you give to me through the faithful service of others. Please God continue to help me develop my gifts, talents, and faith so that I may use them in faith to help others and bring them closer to you. I pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.

May Your Will Be Done

Heavenly Father, there are times that it is very hard for me to deal with the trials I am facing. I know that Satan tempts me with doubt and worry. Give me the strength to resist these feelings when the threaten my faith and my peace. Father, give me the courage to turn it all over to You. I know that You are in control. I seek You and pray that my faith will grow so that I may face my trials always trusting You with a peace in my heart. Dear Father, as Jesus prayed, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will. I do not wish to face these trials and do not understand fully why I must face them. Father, I know that You have a plan for my life, You do know the answers, and You are the way. Heavenly Father, I humble myself to You and turn it over to You. If it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may Your will be done so that my life may honor and glorify You always. All this I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

God's Book of Remembrance

Father, I praise you and sing out your name for everyone to hear. Today, I seek your wisdom and your direction. Let me clearly live by faith today and do the things that honor and glorify you. Hear me oh Lord, I seek for you to be an active part of my life. I wish to please you in a way that you would want to put me in your book of remembrance. Thank you for the salvation that you have given to me that was written on the cross. I will meditate on Your name, so that you are always first in my heart. Let me spread Your seeds of faith to the unfaithful. Let me live my life to honor You in everything I do and say. Dear God, Forgive me when I fail You and fall short of what I should be for You. Thank you for Your loving mercy that is always there to forgive me and redirect me. Father, I pray that my gifts and talents may be used today to glorify You in a way that brings others closer to You. All this I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Finding Forgiveness

Dear God, I do not wish to harbor any ill will against others. Help me God to forgive those that have hurt me and wronged me. Lord, even though I want to forgive I am plagued with doubts, fears, bad memories, and reasons why I should not forgive. When I ponder on these it is hard because I feel that I am justified in my feelings. God help me to forgive. Father, I know it is wrong when I feel these people don't deserve my forgiveness. As much as I want to forgive them Lord my bad memories continue to be chains that bind anger to my heart. Lord, break these chains so that I may be free to forgive. Precious forgiving Lord, I know that alone I do not have the strength or courage to do this. Help me Father so that I may once and of all be free of the bitterness that keeps me from moving on. When people look at me I want them to see your love shining from me and not bitterness and unforgiveness. I know all things are possible with you Lord, so I pray for you to remove the unforgiveness from my heart. I turn it over to you God. Heavenly Father be my justice, so that I can feel the peace and freedom that comes from forgiving. Lord, make my heart a willing heart so that I might be healed. Lead me in my thoughts and decision so that my life may always honor and glorify you. Father, lead me to forgiveness so that I can be obedient to Your word. This I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
